The Chicago White Sox split the series with the Los Angeles Angels and now head to Oakland. Sox scored nine runs and had nine hits but did not hit a homerun. Lance Lynn struggled through the first three innings, giving up three homeruns but he settled down and went six. The White Sox put up a big six run spot in the 3rd inning and added two more in the 9th. Andrew Vaughn had a triple but it was a lot of base hits for the Sox. Shohei Ohtani hit a two run homerun in the 9th inning and Mike Trout robbed a Vaughn homerun and had three hits.
