The Chicago White Sox split a doubleheader with the New York Yankees and play host to the Miami Marlins. It was a tale of two different games, especially in terms of the White Sox offense. In Game 1, the Sox clubbed four home runs. Jake Burger, Yoan Moncada, Luis Robert Jr. and Eloy Jimenez all went deep. Sox scored six runs and had eight hits. Lance Lynn was the starter for the first game and turned in another rough outing. Yankees took advantage of his refusal to change locations with his cutter. Lynn's disappointing outing was eclipsed by the Sox offense. In Game 2, the White Sox had more walks (three) than hits (two). They could not get anything going against Randy Vasquez. White Sox starter, Mike Clevinger, pitched well through three innings and then the Yankees hit his mistakes very far. White Sox bullpen was solid in both games of the doubleheader.
