Marcel began his professional racing career in 2017, finishing 5th in the Esports standings in 2018 and 6th in 2019. He began driving for Oracle Red Bull Racing in 2020 finishing 3rd in the drivers championship, in the process helping Red Bull to secure the 2020 F1 Esports Team Championship. As a professional sim racing driver, Marcel pulls back the curtain on what the world of F1 Esports is really like, revealing technical details far more complex and nuanced than one might expect.
