Send us a Text Message.In this Space Café Radio -  SpaceWatch.Global's Dr. Emma Gatti spoke with Dr Rune Floberghagen, Head of Science, Applications and Climate Department at ESA.The episode was recorded in Oslo during GLOC -  Global Space Conference on Climate Change. GLOC was co-organized by the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), and the Norwegian Space Agency (NOSA). Rune and Emma discussed ESA's space-based technologies and applications that will enable reaching carbon neutrality by 2050. One of them is  the Space for a Green Future Accelerator, a co-governed and independent non-profit partnership of Green Transition actors. Rune explained us how it works,  and introduced us to the Green Transition Information Factory, an interactive tool that allows decision makers to  discover the  power of Earth Observation, cloud-computing and cutting edge analytics.This radio episode is part of a joint collaboration between SpaceWatch.Global and the Norwegian Space Agency. Our collaboration focuses on creating tangible outreach for GLOC, while highlighting the commitment of the space industry to combat the climate crisis.
