Ron and Pete jump on for what is likely the final podcast of the season during Game 5 of the 2022 World Series. With nothing on the line at this point in the playoffs, they turn their attention to what will likely be a busy offseason for both the Cubs and the Cardinals. Will the Cards swap defense for offense behind the plate? Is Mo really going to bump the payroll, and is that tied to Nolan Arenado's decision to leave millions on the table? How much of an impact will Jeff Albert's and Mike Maddux's departures have on the team's performance? The Cubs' offseason will consist of two major decision points: the 40-man roster deadline and their free agency choices. Ron and Pete also go off on fans complaining about old, white broadcasters, and Ron undertakes his annual Twitter purge.
