In Apple Valley, Ohio, 32 y/o Tina Herman never showed up for her 4 o’clock shift shift at dairy queen. When she no call no showed, her employees tried calling and texting to see if Tina was okay but was met with no answer. Tina’s manager, Valarie Haythorn, drove to TIna’s house to check up on her and saw Tina's truck in the driveway along with an unknown car and lights on in the house. But when she knocked on the door, there was no answer so she left note on door but got a really bad feeling and called the police. The next day, Valerie returned to Tina’s house and snuck inside through a window to see if Tina was okay. Valarie was then met with a horrific and bloody scene. There was blood on the carpets, walls, splatters and drag marks that covered the home. But when police showed up shortly after to investigate, they found no bodies and no evidence to who could’ve done this. That was until police found a Walmart receipt for rope and trash bags and found the buyer of the items was 30 year-old Matthew Hoffman. And when Matthew was captured and arrested, the details of where the family was and what he did to them would only get darker.
