Laura Krantz is a journalist, editor and producer, in both radio and print. She's the host, creator and producer of the new podcast Wild Thing.


Laura has worked in audio for over a decade. She edited and produced for NPR in Washington, DC, as part of multiple shows including Morning Edition and Weekend Edition. She also served as the lead editor for Take Two, a news magazine show from Southern California Public Radio (KPCC) in Los Angeles. She's written for various publications, including Popular Science, Smithsonian Magazine, Outside, TakePart and Newsweek, as well as for npr.org.


In 2014-15, Laura was awarded a Ted Scripps Fellow in Environmental Journalism at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She is a Scholar in Residence at the Center for Environmental Journalism and serves as a mentor for the Crown Reporting Project with the University of Montana's School of Journalism. She's currently a partner at Foxtopus Ink, a multimedia company based in Denver.
 
The Wild Thing podcast is made up of 9 main episodes exploring the topic of Bigfoot with several bonus interview episodes interspersed.
