HAPPY 11TH BIRTHDAY TO THE PODCAST! It's wild to say, but this show has been around for 11 years and has changed my life but most importantly, I thank you the listener for caring about DIY culture, punk/hardcore/metal and everything in between...as long as it comes from small/sweaty rooms.
Today is a special one because I get to chat with Nick Hexum from the legendary 311. While it may seem like this mainstream band has very little to do with our "scene" so to speak...their origins are rooted within punk. Their very first show was with Fugazi for heavens sake!
