“As we made our way back, quickly and quietly, I felt the sense that I was being watched. We made it to our bikes, which were thankfully still there. I told my sister to pick up her bike, so we could walk through the rest of the trail without the noise of our bikes clicking. This way we could hear everything going on around us.
