There comes a point with our emotions that we have now moved out of our own abilities.



Before you run to medicine, check these first: (List of questions from Jennie’s primary care doctor, who will ask these questions before prescribing medication:)
Are you moving your body every day? (Produces serotonin)



Are you sharing what is difficult with friends and family? (Heals neural pathways)



How much alcohol are you drinking? (Depletes dopamine)



Are you eating a balanced diet? (Affects every bodily function we have and therefore our emotional life)



Are you spending time with Jesus? (Yes, she asks that of patients who are people of faith, because she knows that a connection with Jesus is healing in ways nothing else can be.)
