Kid News This Week: Insect extinction, echidna back from brink, Diwali record breaker, Swedes say “hey”

This week in world news for kids… Creepie crawlies – love them or loath them – we need them! But they’re on the threat of extinction, which is why a new study is being launched in the US. Over in Indonesia, though, it’s good news – their echidna mammal has come back from the brink of extinction. India scores another Guinness Book of World Records entry for its many-many Diwali diyas.
