Kenny Danced With His Son Until He Was Declared Cancer Free, Coining the Name “Dancing Dad”

Kennith Allen Thomas – otherwise known as the “dancing dad” – took the internet by storm with his daily father-son dancing videos from his son’s hospital room. His young son, Kristian was diagnosed with leukemia and was also born with down syndrome. In the now-viral video called “When your son is cancer–free” Kenny and Kristian can be seen dancing outside of their home in matching flannels, jeans and smiles spreading from ear to ear. That video received millions of views and hundreds of thousands of comments from across the world.  A happy update to report - Kristian is a cancer survivor and has officially been declared cancer free!  Kenny owned a New Jersey dance studio called Level Dance Complex and continues to dance. He is also a motivational speaker and extremely passionate about his faith.
