Graeme Agars: Fox, DeChambeau, Scheffler all shine on wild opening day at The Masters

Release Date:

Live from The Masters at Augusta, veteran golf writer Graeme Agars joins Martin Devlin on It's Only Sport to recap the opening round of play in the first golf major of 2024. Bryson DeChambeau holds the outright lead at seven under par, one stroke ahead of 2022 Masters winner Scottie Scheffler. Start of play was delayed by two and a half hours due to wild weather, so the round wasn't fully completed, leaving the likes of Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson - both late starters - forced to endure a larger workload on day two. Agars talks to Devlin about the standout performers so far including Kiwi Ryan Fox who sits in a tie for sixth at three under, how the weather impacted the course, the outlook for day two, and more.
