In this episode of the Serial Talker, we visit a remote village in Ethiopia's northern Tigray region where an unspeakable slaughter of hundreds of civilians celebrating at an annual religious festival took place. A military force of Eritrean soldiers descended on the Maryam Dengelat Church last November during the festival of St. Mary, a holy celebration marking the arrival of the Ark of the Covenant from Jerusalem. Hundreds were in celebration when the gun fire erupted.
