Episode 31 - Steve Zakuani, Seattle Sounders

Release Date:

Soccer is the most popular sport in the world and here in Seattle we are lucky to have a professional men's soccer team, the Seattle Sounders.
In this episode we talk to former Sounders player and current Sounders broadcast partner, Steve Zakuani. Steve Zakuani was the number-one pick in the 2009 MLS Draft. He suffered an injury that put his career on hold and eventually led him to retire. He has now found a way to continue to pursue his passion for soccer and inspire others to play "the beautiful game".

This episode includes sound-bites from performances by the Seattle Sounder's SoundWave Marching Band. We do not own the rights to these songs performed by the band: Can't Hold Us (originally performed by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis) and Carnaval (originally performed by Celia Cruz).
