Amy Brown, an award winning radio co-host, podcaster, and philanthropist, sits down with Paula to talk about her journey to success, identifying the trusted voices to lean on when taking a leap of faith, and overcoming struggles with unique approaches. Amy has been a co-host of iHeartMedia’s “The Bobby Bones Show” for the last 15 years, broadcasting internationally to millions of people daily, but before that she had zero experience in the field, a job she enjoyed and a pay raise in her future; and yet she decided to press into her fear and take a chance on a job that excited her. She also opens up about the influence her mom has had on her life and how the #PimpinJoy movement grew from a motivational mantra during her mom’s battle with cancer to a clothing and accessory line that benefits organizations and initiatives in Haiti. The mother of two also shares her journey to adoption after dealing with infertility issues and what she has realized four years later that she hopes other families will keep in mind. She also opens up about her struggles with depression during the pandemic and how she discovered that puzzles held the key to a new slice of happiness.
