Today’s Guest: Ed Musgrove, San Marcos City Council MemberEd is a resident of the Twin Oaks Valley where he lives with his wife Carole and daughters, Cailin and Brooke. Ed is a California native moving from Sacrament to San Diego as a child. After graduating from Poway High School, Ed joined the United States Army where he served over six years including a tour in Germany and assignments in Texas and Colorado. Ed returned to San Diego for a position with the San Diego Sheriff. Ed’s work assignments ranged from detentions, patrol, traffic investigator and detective. Ed supervised at the team level, special investigations, emergency management and was the manager of personnel for the 4000-employee department. He also served two years as the station commander for the communities of Santee and Lakeside before retiring. After retiring, Ed took a position as the operations security manager for an international non-profit school based in Carlsbad before accepting an offer as a deputy director for the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System.
