Cold Start but Warmer This Afternoon

This morning will be the coldest of the week with temperatures starting in the 30s to around 40 degrees. Some frost will be possible across protected rural areas in North and East Texas where sensitive vegetation should be protected early this morning. A surface high will exit east of the area later today with the return of southerly winds near 10 mph. A few high clouds will stream by with afternoon highs in the mid-60s to lower 70s. Breezy conditions ramp up tonight into Wednesday with a gradual increase in humidity. Low temperatures late tonight will only fall to between 45 and 50 degrees with highs on Wednesday between 65 and 75 degrees.
