As one of the first duos to take locker room talk to sports podcasting, NFL free agent Taylor Lewan and former teammate, Will Compton created Bussin’ With The Boys, a platform promoting open conversation, vulnerability and a place to share the good, the bad and ugly about life on and off the field.

With the podcast space becoming crowded and everyone starting one, talking to Taylor and Will on how they were one of the originals, how they adjust to changing times, competition and constant evolving.

Last year we had the chance to sit with Taylor during Titans playoff push and we came back to Tennessee this summer to chop it up with The Boys as both our platforms have evolved and we as men, continue to adapt to changing times professionally and personally.

This conversation is full of laughs, tough moments, misconceptions, clearing the air and sharing our own experiences that have shaped some of the choices we made on the field, with our families and our football careers.

In the midst of retiring and still playing the game we love, Taylor still wrestles with what life looks like to walk away from the game we love and how injury last year mentally affected him and the way he pulled himself through dark times to get to the other side while Will knew that it was his time to focus on making plan B plan A when he realized he was thinking more about this next phase of his life and the media opportunities fueling his passion.

Ryan shares his own journey and adjustments of dealing with pressures from others expectations and learning to focus on where his feet are before getting ahead of himself as Fred adds in some of the takeaways having this platform has helped him deal with some of the changes of routine and playing football. Channing also opens up on how he wished he approached his career a little different now as he looks back with some regrets.
