George is going in blind this week, with no context. Is he ready for a two-and-a-half hour epic of 70s sleaze and 80s debauchery? I mean, obviously he isn't. Let's see how it goes! It might take Dan giving a guick "history of adult entertainment" to bring the context George needs.
Will George open his cold heart to empathize with the down-and-out LA adult scene actors as they try to overcome the rejection of mainstream America and build new family units from the injured souls around them? Oh, c'mon. This is George we are talking about.
Let's try this again: Will George appreciate the tragedy as the LA scene chews up and spits out the actors? Will Travis love this acting tour-de-force and laud the break-out performances that made Paul Thomas Anderson a perineal Oscar contender?
