Malin Fezehai is an Eritrean-Swedish New York-based photographer, filmmaker, and visual journalist. She's worked in more than forty countries in the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and America. In addition to being a National Geographic Explorer, she's also worked for The New York Times, The Washington Post, and many other media organizations around the world.In 2016, Malin was commissioned by the United Nations to photograph survivors of violent extremism across Sub-Saharan Africa.
