And what can we do to protect people from predatory spirituality cults? 50:37Is it cultural appropriation for a white person to dress as the Black Panther? This caller wants our take on the difference between cultural appropriation versus appreciation. Eric points out that centering the viewpoint and experiences of the people who have dealt with appropriation is crucial to this conversation. Should we settle for a religious soup kitchen if it’s going to feed people faster, or should we spend time building a soup kitchen for atheists?
