Danny and Tom also discuss the reaction to Martinez’s initial hiring to what it is now, the reasoning for his first squad selections, which players may thrive in this new era, and how Martinez will ultimately be judged as Portugal manager (hint: it won't be during EURO qualifying unless results don't go Portugal's way).
Danny and Tom also spend some time talking about Sporting’s heroics at the Emirates this week, as well as give the Women’s National Team some long-overdue and well-deserved kudos for qualifying for their first World Cup (first episode since they qualified for this summer's tournament).
