In this episode… I wrap up our series on mindset, specifically looking at what a growth mindset really is and the understanding that most of us are in fact not walking out a growth mindset, but are stuck in performance. I kicked off by talking with Stanford-trained mindset expert Eduardo Briceño, the author of The Performance Paradox: Turning The Power of Mindset Into Action. It’s Eduardo’s research on how we miss the growth mindset that was my catalyst. He is also co-founder of Mindset Works with renowned Stanford psychologist Carol Dweck. I then brought on Tom Ziglar, son of famed growth mindset expert Zig Ziglar, and CEO of Ziglar. Ziglar as a company is one of the most premier growth oriented companies in existence. From these talks I’m made greatly aware of how I too get stuck in performance and am not actually growing. So in reviewing all the notes for the actions I want to take toward growth, I came up with the key points, and I want to share them with you.
