#3 - Sitting Down with Derek Ingram

Episode 3 features the legendary Canadian golf coach Derek Ingram, who has been at the helm of a variety of teams with the National team programs over the past 20 or so years.
Derek is an extremely open and honest man who cares for his players and who is what you might term an “inside-out” coach – which is to say that he focuses on the inner game as an avenue to bring his players more success on the outer arenas of sport and competition.
Derek was a fine player in his own right who turned to coaching to satisfy his own personal virtues of supporting and helping others, and the world of Canadian golf is all the better for this decision he made in the late 1990’s.
We are sure you’ll enjoy listening to the insights and stories that Derek shares in this episode, but more than anything we are certain you will discover why he is so revered by his players and the many coaches around the country over which he has had tremendous influence.
And while his humility and self-deprecating humour will keep him from ever mentioning this fact, the success of the Team Canada program over recent years is in large part due to the attitude and efforts of the “Dragon Coach”, Derek Ingram.
