Vince McMahon formely introduces The Attitude Era by saying Raw is the "cure for the common show". D-Generation X main event Raw in a tag match against L.O.D, and Steve Austin takes The Rock's Intercontinental Championship belt on a road trip.
On WCW Nitro it's announced that Bret Hart is in the building and he will make an appearance on the show. Scott Hall takes on Chris Jericho, Booker T wrestles Randy Savage, and Hulk Hogan is (once again) trying to find Sting.
