Sarah Attar (@sarahattar) is a a two-time Olympian and a professional runner with the Mammoth Track Club and On Running in Mammoth Lakes, California.
In 2012 at the Olympic Games in London, Sarah represented Saudi Arabia as one of their first-ever female Olympians. Also at this time, she just finished her sophomore year in college.
Since her first Olympics, Sarah continues to pursue her passion of running, while sharing it with others and inspiring many people around the world. She ran in the Rio 2016 Olympics, completing her 10th marathon, and is currently training for Tokyo 2020.
Sarah recently completed the Chicago Marathon in October 2018. This marked her 11th marathon and a new personal record of 03:07:16.

Being featured on a Boston Marathon Banner
Making the cover of Women’s Running Magazine, highlighted as one of the 10 most powerful women in running.
Being featured and having her own works published in multiple media outlets, including Field Mag and She Explores.

Whether it’s photography, writing, or another creative outlet, Sarah finds inspiration from the landscapes she runs through, and utilizes this to fuel her art.
Sarah experiences running as a moving meditation in many forms and she loves tapping into this rhythm out on the roads and trails.
