In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts Ryan Abraham and Connor Morrissette (aka "Triple Double") are back to recap the first week of USC fall camp 2024, with the team utilizing a new and improved Howard Jones Field featuring a full 100-yard turf field that showcased most of the action. The Trojans got things started last Friday and then put full pads on for the first time on Thursday.
We initially heard from Lincoln Riley when camp started and then more players and assistant coaches were made available on Wednesday and Thursday. The guys have updates on what the offensive and defensive players and coaches had to say after practice, including defensive coordinator D'Anton Lynn, defensive line coach Shuan Nua, linebackers coach Matt Entz and offensive line coach Josh Henson and players Miller Moss, Duce Robinson, Ja'Kobi Lane, Jonah Monheim, Easton Mascarenas-Arnold, Zion Branch and Kobe Pepe.
They also discuss the latest on the injury front, where the Trojans are on the recruiting trail right now, being picked No. 23 in the preseason Coaches Poll, Emmanuel Pregnon and Zachariah Branch making Bruce Feldman's "Freaks" list and lots more.
