He’s live on air before most people wake up and has been delivering the news for over two decades. For our first episode of Season Four, we get to interview the man behind the anchor desk. Steve Uyehara is a 3-time Emmy award winning TV News Anchor and Journalist. He's also won an Edward R. Murrow and Mark Twain award. Steve co-anchors Hawaii News Now: Sunrise morning starting at 4:30 a.m. and has spent more hours on live TV than most journalists with do in their entire lifetime. In this episode, the Damien High grad talks about the balance of being humble but also having the courage to go after what you want… and also, what time he has to wake up every morning!
