Why did the Jewish People need Priests? - Introduction to the Torah E6

God chose the people of Israel to be a Kingdom of Priests, and then he also gave them priests. What are priests and why are they so central to who the Jewish people are and to the greater biblical story?

Have you been let down or mistreated by someone in power? Maybe a religious leader? Right now just take a second and express how you feel about that to God
Remember that where people let us down, Jesus is compassionate and invites us to be with him. Take another second right now and ask for him to restore and heal every area of hurt. 
Remember that if you’re a follower of Jesus you represent him to those around you. What is one way today that you can be there for someone who needs compassion?
