Todays meditation contains techniques to help you manage anxiety and was brought about by a request from a listener. Chronic anxiety can become embedded within us as a trauma response, a mechanism that has been set in place by the body to be in a state of constant alert. When this happens the stress hormones will affect the gut bacteria and IBS becomes an issue for many. Knowledge that you have techniques that directly impact the nervous system is hugely empowering. Even if you do not suffer with IBS these techniques - diaphragmatic breathing, Nadi Sodhana and an effective mind quietening technique - are incredible tools to have in your kit bag for coping with life.
