Thursday night in Los Angeles begins the NFL regular season and a title defense.  Matthew Stafford and company return to the spotlight and they do so against the favorite to win the Super Bowl this season, the Buffalo Bills.  Buffalo is trying to pick themselves off the deck after a soul sucking Divisional Round loss at the hands of Kansas City.  Josh Allen played flawless football during the postseason and now he's looking to duplicate the feat through 18 weeks.  Tom Brady had to get out of town for a few days during training camp because "there's a ton of shit going on."  Now the future hall of famer has his eyes set on another MVP-type campaign and it starts in Jerry's World against a Dallas Cowboys squad that must meet expectations.  Aaron Rodgers lost Davante Adams, gained a new perspective on life thanks to some Ayahuasca and now he heads to Minnesota to see a squad who his destined to unseat him in the NFC North.  The crown has been passed in many of ways from Pittsburgh to Cincinnati in the AFC North, but many folks think it was ripped out thanks to Joe Burrow.  The Heisman Trophy winner stuck a knife in the heart of Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in last years AFC Championship game and he was a few plays away from capturing the Lombardi Trophy.  What does the young signal caller do for an encore and can the Bengals avoid a free fall after being so close to glory last season?
