Together We Are A Force: Beaver Theodosakis and the 3 Es (Ella, Ella, Emme)

In 2016, we conducted an extensive series of interviews and surveys to find out how OIA—the outdoor industry’s membership trade association—can best support outdoor companies. What we learned is that our members see us as a convener—the unifying entity best equipped to galvanize the industry around three important issues: policy, participation and sustainable business. We then identified individuals who are already working to move the needle on those issues within their respective companies.    Getting kids outside. It’s the future of the outdoor industry and, in the end, it’s what we should all be striving for. Beaver Theodosakis, the founder of prAna, has focused his time as an Outdoor Foundation board member on programs like Parks4Kids to get young people like Ella, Ella and Emme (dubbed the 3 Es by their parents) outside.
