Power sports like football, weightlifting, gymnastics, and wrestling require 1.0-1.5 g/kg/day. Athletes in regular resistance training and endurance sports like swimming, rowing, distance running, and soccer may need 1.2-1.4 g/kg/day. Kilograms can be calculated by dividing pounds by 2.2. Example 220lbs = 100kg
