How to Explain Cultural Appropriation to Your Kids

By definition, “cultural appropriation” is the use of objects or elements of a minority culture that doesn’t respect their original meaning or give credit to their source, thereby reinforcing stereotypes or contributing to oppression. But how do we explain it to our kids?
