This week Michelle and Hillary talk to Anna about fitness in the postpartum period. We talk about how to move during pregnancy for strength and preparing for labor. We cover how pelvic floor strength is core to adding in movement postpartum, and how it is best to take time to rest after having a baby. Anna talks about what movements are best to start with to ease into exercise postpartum, and how this may differ if you had a C-section. We talk about common issues women have postpartum. Then we dive into body image. There is such a spectrum with women who have never loved their body more, and women who just want to get back into their jeans ASAP.  Postpartum is a time to give yourself grace, and we talk about our experiences with weight loss in the postpartum period.
