Bio: Ragen Chastain is a speaker, writer, and thought leader in the fields of Body Image, Health at Every Size, Inclusion In Sport, and Corporate Wellness. She is the author of the blog DanceswithFat.org, the book Fat: The Owner's Manual, and co-founder of the Fit Fatties Forum. Ragen has brought her signature mix of humor and hard facts to stages around the world, and writes for outlets including espnW, Glamour, and a monthly series in US News & World report about athletes breaking stereotypes. She has been featured as an expert internationally on radio, television and documentary film, and was recently a featured athlete in the Olympic Channels Body+ video series. She is an ACE Certified Health Coach and Functional Fitness Specialist, three-time National champion dancer, and two-time marathoner who holds the Guinness World Record for Heaviest Woman to Complete a Marathon. She lives in Los Angeles with her partner and their adorable dog, and is training for her first (and only!) iron-distance triathlon.
