One Year In! Am I A Homesteader Yet?

Today's episode celebrates one year of the podcast and one year of considering myself a homesteader!  Today I reflect on the past year about what I learned and what it means to be a homesteader.  I talk about how homesteading is about being self reliant, closing loops in the systems that you take part of, and how it's not for everyone, because it's definitely not cheap up front and takes a lot of time, work and trial and error to be efficient and eventually save money. I also talk about how we choose to homestead because we love food and know the difference that local fresh product makes in our cooking.
