In rising 1.2% on Friday last week, the S&P 500 index went to a new high. In the 14 previous times since 1950 when the index went to a new high after a year or more months without one, it was up a year later in all but one, and the average return in all 14 times was 15%. With equal-weighted indices still below their highs, this is still a technology-driven bull market.
