I currently volunteer for my local animal shelter and recently decided I wanted to try fostering a kitten for the first time. I was given Bryce, aka Binx, to bring home and care for. He was a 5-week old kitten found alone, outside. When he was brought to the shelter he was covered in fleas and severely malnourished. He was dehydrated and anemic from all the fleas. My job as his Foster Mom was to give me a safe, comfortable, and loving home. I fed him, give him his medicine (iron) and monitored his progress and behavior.
