He Didn’t Want Me At Work Events!

Alanah and Jake have been dating for over two and a half years and while they don’t live with one another,  Alanah tells us it’s mostly because of Jake’s ex who used to live with him and things ended badly. Alanah has been okay with it, but she has recently started to notice that Jake is taking his clothes to the dry cleaners even though normally he doesn’t regularly wash his clothes. At the same time, Alanah also got a text from Jake’s coworker last week wishing her to feel better because apparently Jake lied about Alanah being sick so she didn’t show up to their work happy hour.   We call Jake pretending to send him a free bouquet of flowers and when we ask who Jake wants to send them to, Jake asks if we can send them to someone named Roxie.
