Labor’s recently announced objective of superannuation highlights the importance of ensuring the system is equitable, yet there’s no mention of women in its proposals. At the same time, Treasurer Jim Chalmers has softly committed to paying super contributions on paid parental leave but gave no indication of when. So is the government really targeting equity?
