Today on Paint Talks, Dionne Woods talks with Mayrose Marquez. Mayrose is Founder and Picnic Stylist of Picnic with Me. She has always had a passion and gift for making beautiful floral arrangements and hosting enchanting picnics for friends and family. In 2019, she decided to take a leap of faith and leave her teaching profession of 17 years. She traveled for the remainder of 2019 before she decided to pursue a career in the travel industry in March 2020. Unfortunately, due to COVID, she was among many who were laid off and travel was no longer an option due to the many restrictions in the industry. Because of her love for the outdoors and nature, she went on many picnics. It was then she decided to launch her business. She started with picnics with friends and family before she launched Picnic with Me in August 2020. It's been 3 years now since she launched.
