"I should be excited because it's National Teacher Appreciation Day. Instead, I'm miserable. I'm 29 and a teacher at one of the largest high schools in the area. I also happen to be dating a woman who graduated from my school last year and is now 19. Last year was my first year at the school. I did not know my girlfriend because she wasn't in any of my classes. We met at my side job. Several people recently found out that we are dating. It's starting to pop up on the Internet. Some say we should break up and that it's wrong that I'm dating a former student. Well, everyone is a former student and I never had her in any of my classes. We're both starting to fall deeply for each other. I imagine my principal will soon want a word with me. Should I break up with my girlfriend?
