OPP 5-14-24

"I’ve been with my daughter’s father for 4 years, we have a 3 year old together and he has 3 other children, 1 by his first love & 2 more from his ex wife. A few months back I found paper work that had came in the mail for his life insurance & 401k which they send out randomly and I noticed his ex wife and their 2 kids was listed as beneficiaries & I made the remark that he really needed to get that fixed with her off of it & I even said that I thought it was not right that the older child wasn’t ever listed in the first place. This past Friday another letter came in the mail & he opened it in front of me and now has his 2 kids listed from the ex wife, and then our child together but still doesn’t have his 1st born baby on there. I talked to my friends about it and they said it’s ridiculous he’d put 3 minor children on there with no adult beneficiaries especially the life insurance because if something happens to him that money would have to be used to have a proper burial & children don’t understand those things. They also think it’s crappy that he wouldn’t put me the woman who’s mothering one of his kids & does help parent the others every other week and trying to build a life with him. They say the fact he done that right there and the fact that he hasn’t proposed is because he’s settling and isn’t happy and has no intentions on spending the rest of his life with me. What do yall think? Would a normal guy put their girlfriend of 4 years/mother of your child as beneficiary? PLEASE READ SO YOUR LISTENERS CAN HELP ME OUT!!
