297. SENIOR missionary couple Eve and Steve Hurst, “LOOKING FROM A DIFFERENT ANGLE”

Eve and Steve decided to serve a mission back in 2019. Their brother was a mission president in Hong Kong and they thought for sure they would be heading there. Then they found out that they were going to go to the Philippines. Covid broke out and caused them to serve a remote mission. They traveled the United States, visiting, family and friends, and served remotely with the missionaries and medical team in the Philippines. After 18 months they were able to leave and serve for another 19 months in the Philippines. It ended up lasting 3 years. Eve served as a mission nurse and Steve served as a housing coordinator.
