There was delirium in the stands as Tavs's wonder-strike lit the blue touch paper to inspire a stunning Cherries turnaround against the Cottagers, after a performance which was initially insipid and lifeless.
Gary O'Neil needs to amend the negatives and draw on the positives ahead of the visit of high-flying Brighton. The Cherries face the Seagulls on Tuesday night, and with matches under the floodlights always proving special at Dean Court, it is hope that Boscombe can pick up another three points in their bid to escape the relegation mire.
