Hosts, Eileen Lamb and Andrew Komarow speak with Michelle Vinokurov. Michelle Vinokurov was diagnosed with autism at 2. Michelle had a lot of challenges very young and received a mix of early intervention services 7 days a week. She was nonverbal until she said her first word at the age of 6 and did not fully communicate in sentences until age 10.
Last year, she graduated from Purdue University Global with her Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in ABA. Today, she works multiple jobs. Michelle works full-time with the school district of Manatee County as a special education behavior specialist.
On the side, she works with Full Spectrum ABA as a registered behavior technician (RBT), providing ABA therapy to neurodiverse clients.
Plus, she works with Full Spectrum ABA as a blogger for the company and represents an autistic advocate for the company. Michelle strives to make an impact and enhance the quality of life for neurodiverse people.
