160th SOAR

In this episode of the Special Operations series, Brian “Casmo” Harris interviews friend and MH-6 Little Bird pilot Gabe Saldana. Gabe was a member of the 160th Special Operation Aviation Regiment (SOAR) – The Night Stalkers. Gabe describes that his interest in joining the 160th was being in a community where there was focus on the mission. The discussion follows the application and screening process where candidates are continually evaluated in their response to stressful situations with the ultimate goal to ensure each candidate would live up to the motto of the regiment “Night Stalkers Don’t Quit”.
