Hey girl, thank you for being here. In this episode, we have my friend Ebony Parry talk to us about pivoting and about her journey working in the corporate world to becoming her own boss. Ebony is originally from Indiana but moved to Los Angeles in 2001. Her background is in Environmental Science, which she has a chemist degree. Throughout the years she explored many different career paths, including pilates instructor, massage therapist, music, and ending with her last job as Director of Marketing and Operations for a restaurant company. Like most people who go from working in the corporate world to being entrepreneurs, she struggled with the anxiety of leaving her job, which offered financial security. But she decided to follow God's lead and to be obedient to His plans for her. And now she is the owner of Rock Sugar Style in where she helps women by providing style and make-up tips.
